By providing personal information to us (either directly or allowing another person to do so on your behalf), you agree that this policy will apply to how we handle your personal information and you consent to us collecting, using and disclosing your personal information as detailed in this policy.

What personal information do we collect?

We may collect and store the following information when running the Emerald pmu service:

  • Information you give us. You may give us information about you by filling in forms on our site www.emeraldpmu.com (our site) or by corresponding with us by phone, e-mail or otherwise. This includes information you provide when you register to use our site, and when you report a problem with our site. The information you give us may include your name, address, e-mail address and phone number, financial and credit card information, personal description and photograph.  We also keep information given to us during your treatments such as allergies, medical information and records of treatments.
  • Information we collect about you. With regard to each of your visits to our site we may automatically collect the following information:
  • technical information, including the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet, your login information, browser type and version, time zone setting, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform;
  • information about your visit, including the full Uniform Resource Locators (URL) clickstream to, through and from our site (including date and time); products you viewed or searched for; page response times, download errors, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs), and methods used to browse away from the page and any phone number used to call our customer service number.

 

  • Information we receive from other sources. We may receive information about you if you use any of the other websites we operate or the other services we provide. Information sharing and disclosure

We may share your personal information with any member of our group, which means our subsidiaries, our ultimate holding company and its subsidiaries, as defined in section 1159 of the UK Companies Act 2006.

We may share your information with selected third parties including:

  • Business partners, suppliers and sub-contractors for the performance of any contract we enter into.

Data retention

We will only keep your personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which we collected it. We may retain your data to satisfy any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements, so for example we need to keep certain information about you for 6 years after you cease to be a client for tax purposes. Our insurance requires us to keep certain information about you for 7 years after you cease to be a client.

You have the right to ask us to delete the personal data we hold about you in certain circumstances.

Your privacy

Protecting your data is important to us and we have put in place security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorized way, altered or disclosed. We also limit access to your personal data to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know such data. They will only process your personal data on our instructions and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality.

We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breaches and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a breach where we are legally required to do so.

We may anonymise your personal data (so that you can no longer be identified from such data) for research or statistical purposes in which case we may use this information indefinitely without further notice to you.

Updating your data

We have a duty to keep your personal data up to date and accurate so from time to time we will contact you to ask you to confirm that your personal data is still accurate and up to date.

If there are any changes to your personal data (such as a change of address) please let us know as soon as possible by writing to or emailing the addresses set out in section 6 above.

Changes to this policy

Emerald pmu may amend this policy from time to time, by publishing a revised policy on our website. Any changes will be effective as of the date they are published.
